In all honesty though, he's right. What's the point anymore?
With Donum Dei, and now Aperture gone, there's no point in RP'ing shit as you're not going to get noticed by any of the fun and secret factions, honestly.. That's what motivated me a lot of the time, was due to the fact I wanted to impress these Roleplay'ers.
Now, you're either an Administrator, a wannabe Administrator, Helper, Tester, or troll, everything else has
no meaning, whatsoever.

And you wonder why RCRP is dead, just shut it down at this point then.. If that's truly why people only wanted to seriously RP on RCRP then its over and done with.

The point, back then, wasn't the meaning of the faction at all. It wasn't that you could get guns, it wasn't you could kill people, none of that, it was because they were the best, back then, that's it. If you were in either faction you had to be good (or so people thought), that's why people wanted to be in it; that's why I wanted to be in it.

I joined Elite Trucking as my first faction, you think I seriously think I wanted to be trucker? Not at all, it's because I heard to Roleplay was really good, and its members constantly tried to make Roleplay.

Those who thought that being in something like Aperture or Hitmen gave you any power at all, were pretty wrong.

I'm sorry, but I wanted to be within them because I wanted to be the best Roleplay'er I could be, and back then, they had the best Roleplay'ers. If that's a reason for RCRP dying, then I honestly see a huge lack of logic there.

Agreed. Being in Aperture (DNS) didn't allow us to go around doing what we wanted there were lots and lots of set rules that we had to follow and those that didn't follow them were fired. Simple.

Fun fact: Many people who joined AP thought this was the case and they got instantly fired because they were simply too stupid for AP.

Now this is funny to read, I was in aperture and hitmen for a year and witnessed some of the worst roleplay of my life from those factions, those factions are not and were not the best. Only way to get into Hitmen at one point was to basically be an admin or an extremely good ass licker, and 9/10 hits were /spec'd and then teleported to and headshot. Then Aperture you either stand around in the base, drive around with Ian in his limo and make him look good, assist gangsters by selling them weapons or assist the cops by getting into shootouts with them. The only time I ever saw any good RP come out of Aperture was when Mugel set up a treatment center where people would get paid to test out a new drug and he roleplayed strange side effects taking place on all of them.

No the best roleplay I ever had was when again I was in Blue Dynasty and ran 135 Piru Bloods with Harold. Gangs had better RP than the legitimate Admin run factions because they had more creative players and less power strung out admins abusing their commands for the benefit of their faction.

I tried making a change................ Lolnope

Guess freedom of speech has kinda died a little on RCRP. Dictatorship much?

That being said, I'm going to invest my time on something that wont be silenced.

Honestly Kemp, that form is really needed, and if your not going to let me post it, do us all a favor and post one yourself. Like, now. The "Time is right" right now.

I'm done.

I compromised a shit ton to ensure my faction was fair in regards to dealing with members.

1.) People got mad if someone was promoted too quickly or appointed to a position of power without proving themselves. Therefore I stopped promoting people too quickly which caused the Executive Team to suffer staff and I had to wait long periods of training potential Executives.

2.) 3 strike warning system for review and or firing. Fuck up 3 times, depending on your offenses, you'd face a review by executives or be fired and or CK'ed (Some agents were allowed retirement aka not CK'ed.)

3.) The Hiring process was moved from just me to a recommendation from an Executive member to then be voted upon by the acting Executives. Executive Assistants, Executives, Co-CEO's, and the CEO had a vote, and the CEO could veto any recommendations if deemed necessary. As well as appoint one to two of his own selected members without a vote (I rarely did this unless I really wanted to.)

4.) I implemented weapon restrictions and often frisked the Agents then chewed them out if they were carrying the wrong load out for their rank. Granted everyone in the faction (albeit Researchers) had access to M4s, Initiates weren't allowed to leave base in uniform and in an Agency vehicle unless authorized for solo patrol by a Superior or accompanied by a Junior Agent+. M4's were only to be used when deemed necessary and must be concealed in the vehicle at all times or on the Agent's back.

5.) Excessive force vehicles such as the Rhino, Hunter, or Hydra was only used by me. Rustlers could only be dispatched when an Executive authorized for air patrols / SASP needs a helicopter/plane shot down. The Rhino was exclusively controlled by me in military convoys, I personally saw nothing wrong with it because I didn't shoot anyone (except trespassers, that's the whole point.)

But even then, with all the compromises in the attempt to make people happy it just wasn't good enough.

Plain and simple for RCRP to come back to life, rewind time back to around 2010, grab that script, admin team and player base. Welcome back RCRP.. A time where asslicking and bullshit wasn't stood for and actual Serious RP took place. rip

Yep that's how it used to be in the early days. Then long after, the same thing happened, the period I referred to as "when nobody gave a shit and started abusing faction weapons and fucking around" (andre and lorenzo herp derp, love ya). However that was a while ago and a lot has changed since then.

Gambo honestly we appreciate your concern as well as he effort you're putting in, seriously. However this kind of thing needs to come from the right source, in this case management for obvious reasons. Please don't take the locking and removal the wrong way, as Kemp said we do appreciate the players that still want to make a difference.
