How about flexibility like letting a newbie RPer be in the PD, but dont give him a gun, give him a corny job like parking tickets, bicycle cop type deal. And if they wanna grow they can improve their RP to do so. And it will reward new players.

Sorry I'm a bit late on the reply, but something like that was actually my first LEO experience on the server so many years ago

I can't remember the exact name of the program, but it was kinda like a probation officer thingy they tried out for a while. I applied on the forums, and they gave me a nitestick and mace and basically told me to patrol Montgomery. No vehicle, my job was basically just to walk around town and chat to people. If an incident happened, I was supposed to call in an actual cop as backup with my radio.

It was pretty cool and got me to join for real.

fucking put them on flint as park rangers but with only pistols and shotguns and they are not allowed to leave out of their jurisdiction

but then they won't experience the server's main locations and won't know their way around. would be better to put them into parking enforcement, in my opinion.

No point in moving an already small player base around the map, that will just make it less likely to run into people and RP with. Plus, it's un-needed IMO it's not like in GTA 5 where you have actual wildlife in the game.

Cops shouldn't have anything but pistols and shotguns anyway. The amount of times I got shot with an M4 just cause I was evading unarmed is ridiculous, exhibit A:
