The Crackdown on Robbery and DM Squads

This is a small County, well decently small. And this is a County with alot of mixed races and stuff, because obviously everyone wants to roleplay something else. But because we have the whole world in one County, we don't have to have the same crime rate as the whole world together does. It's highly unrealistic to have everyone robbing at night time.

There's probably five people max who rob at night. Why don't they rob during the day? Because cops. Why wouldn't someone wait till night time? Just because players are getting upset.. don't go out at night? It's all logical.

As I stated in my previous post, this stuff happends durning the day too. Durning peak hours aswell.. People have no limits on how stupid or life threatning situation they might get themselves into because they'll just respawn.. Do you think any normal person would go robbing 3 people daily every day? There is fear, there is alot more motives that should drive a person not to do such things, but they do it because the worse that can happend is, they die, they respawn. Learn to roleplay FEAR, everyone, and focus on building your character to be something else than a buffed gangster or a HEAVY CONNECTED mobster.. We all love to see those kind of actions performed, but by people who actually know what gangster and mobster rp's are like and it's not robbing people constantly, in ANY gang or mafia. Get your shit together and learn how to roleplay FEARRRR, of jail, of death.

There are many other places players can roleplay, instead of banning players for robbing within the rules. Improve the rules? Make temporary safezones, and permanent safezones. Don't punish us because you're not happy with your rules.

Make stricter rules, add more greenzones such as the Stacks. Get staff that's active at night (dexev, CAVE and Dell have been active at night).

Let's make it a rule you can't rob a business while it's open. Can't say, there are indeed robberies that happend durning the open hours, but that's more for grocery stores and stuff like that.. But when someone takes the time and effort to make a roleplay situation for lots of people and you come in 3 guys armed robbing a casino for example, doesen't seem realistic at all.. There is alot of tweaking the rules that I believe nobody will change anytime soon.

Personally I've robbed that casino once. And it was successful. But we're steering off topic, there should be rules in place if people are whining. Don't just ban the ones who create roleplay (even if it's forced, though you can't whine about what you roleplay because shit doesn't go your way all the time) because others whine, I was personally given three warnings and stopped my amounts of DM and robbing.

Personally I've robbed that casino once. And it was successful. But we're steering off topic, there should be rules in place if people are whining. Don't just ban the ones who create roleplay (even if it's forced, though you can't whine about what you roleplay because shit doesn't go your way all the time) because others whine, I was personally given three warnings and stopped my amounts of DM and robbing.

You gotta realize how the state is right now, it's like, you either get a gun to attempt and defend yourself, or die and loose 50k+, or just don't go anywhere where there is not a police officer or if you are not in your car ready to run, or if you are anywhere outside of towns in the red county, even sometimes in an allyway INSIDE the town.. You legit can do a test at 3AM every night. The test would be: Can a man walk from Palomino to Blueberry without getting robbed, the answer would be no, I might even take the time to make such a video.

Passive roleplay Is fun as shit, especially the kind with small amounts of action. Today I had one of the best roleplay moment while here. It was a basic situation where I was stuck in an Apartment with cops trying to arrest me, shit was super fun, and I didn't even care If I lost the gun and drugs, IT didn't even matter. It's not hard to create fun ass roleplay, It's just the fact you wanna gain so many assets and don't give a f*** about the roleplay. Instead of crying, you should be trying to start some roleplay.

This isn't a discussion about locking yourself in a room and roleplaying with cops trying to arrest you, we are talking about the constant robberies that are not even performey slightly roleplayingly.. You are robbing someone just by simple /me pulls a gun and aims it at the vicitm GET ON THE GROUND! /me would search through all the pockets of vicitim /me would dip away.. It's not even fun.. I wouldn't mind loosing 10 grand AT ALL if it was performed in any kind of roleplay matter. This isn't roleplay, this is just money hungry idiots chasing people around trying to get a easy acess to cash.

I've been robbed by 3 guys in the middle of the day, center Blueberry, because there were only 25-30 players online, no admins and 2 cops.

Another thing is if a victim shouts or makes a /me attempting to escape, robbers spam /b saying "RP fear!", but they act like tough men, waving their guns around, looking like robots. I mean everyone is an ultra skilled robber now? Shouldn't robber RP fear/being scared as well?

In my opinion you would certainly have the fear of getting caught.

..which is why you shouldn't rob people in broad daylight and in the middle of the street. But that's why we are working on taking care of this.
