Summary

The camping script is one of the many scripts introduced in version 3.3 and it allows players to place, spawn and invite guests to their tents. Tents can only be placed in suitable locations (map can be found below) and you will need to spawn at them or else they will be automatically destroyed and placed back to your inventory. Tents can be purchased from any general store around Red, Flint and Bone County. This system will hopefully encourage more passive roleplay and perhaps we will see more picnics and camping events in the future.

Core Features

Purchasing a Tent
There are currently 3 different types of tents (Image below) and they all cost $1,000 and all of them can be purchased from a general store. A player may only own 1 tent at a time.

Spawning your tent

Once you have purchased your tent, you can now spawn it by using /tent pitch in roughly the green areas found in the map below:

If you no longer need your tent, you can put it back to your inventory by using the command /tent pack near your owned tent.

Inviting guests to your tent

Being on a camping trip alone is boring, so bring someone else along to your tent! Using the command /tent invite you can invite a player that's close to you and your owned tent and they can now spawn at it as well. Please note that you can only invite 1 guest at a time and can only be guest at 1 tent.

Spawning at a tent

The 3.3 update brought a new feature related to spawning! When you log in, you will be met with a dialog with different spawn options depending your faction, business, house as well as public areas. If you have an owned tent or you're a guest at one, you will have the option to spawn at it! Please note: If you don't spawn at your owned tent, it will be destroyed and placed back to your inventory.

UPDATE: As of version 3.3.4;
Buying a new tent while already owning one will overwrite the previous model.
/tent edit can now be used to edit the position of an already placed tent.
/tent groundsnap can now be used to snap a tent to the ground and adjust its rotation to match the terrain.
