As you're probably aware by now, there have been a few changes to the forum as of late.

We have moved from http://www.rc-rp.com to http://forum.redcountyrp.com

As such, there are a few things that you should be updated about:
As the domain is now a subdomain of our own website, we now own the forum as opposed to using a provided forum.
New features are now available for you, including some new smilies, Topic icons and we can now have multiple usergroup moderators.

However, to invert a saying that is known across the world; With every silver lining, there is a cloud
In this case, the cloud comes in the form of the following:
ÔÇó Some formatting such as Bold Italic and Underline may have been lost in the transferring of posts. You may find that you'll have to re add them
ÔÇó Sizes of text can now be altered up to 200pts. Although this brings much more formatting, you'll notice that any old posts you made will be x10 smaller than they had been originally. If you had a piece of text which was a size of 10pt, you'll need to increase that to 100pt to recover the original formatting.
ÔÇó "Code-within-Code" is no longer supported, and as such, you will have to change the way you code things. For example:

Code:
[color=blue]You are [color=red]A SILLY[/color] cookie[/color]

Will not work anymore. Instead, you must do this:

Code:
[color=blue]You are [/color][color=red]A SILLY[/color][color=blue] cookie[/color]

We understand that this is somewhat annoying, but we assure you that the benefits of moving to this new forum far outweigh the disadvantages.

You may also notice that the banner up the top is aligned to the left. This is deliberate, so don't worry.

The default colour for posting is now black as opposed to the blue shade we had.

Finally, the alignment code has changed when posting. It used to be this:

Code:
[left][/left]
Code:
[center][/center]
Code:
[right][/right]

But we are now using this method:

Code:
[align=left][/align]
Code:
[align=center][/align]
Code:
[align=right][/align]

Note that alignment coding was readjusted automatically during the switchover. and you won't have to sort this coding in your old posts.

If you're having any trouble in terms of your permissions, usergroups or even logging in to your usual account, please visit our temporary switchover issues forum which will help you get up and running again.

If you have any questions, catch me on the forums, ingame or in the Teamspeak and I'll see what I can do for you.

Thanks again for your cooperation and support,
Patrick Jackson, that dead annoying admin guy. :)
