Suggestion, locked ?

So I was just cruising threw the forums, when I come across the suggestion section, I pop in for a short look and I begin writing my suggestion when all of a sudden to my dismay I discover that the suggestion has forsaken me and it is surely locked.
My question is... Why have you locked the suggestion section, I feel I have a large amount of ideas circulating in my head, that I most definitely need to expell from my chest.

Because Alec needs time to review them and find out which ones should be added or not.

This is however hindering the creativity of the community, and a lot of good ideas are going to waste this way, surely.
