[Question] How do you preform a distant /do without MGing?

So, how are you able to preform a /do to another play while being in a distant zone which the only way to currently do it is by using /pm, but it would count as MG, so how is it done?

Why would it matter if they're distant?
You can PM them if it's to say **Upon return to your house you'd notice a smashed front window.** or whatever as far as I'm aware, that's not MG.

i always ask the player for their physical structure via /do to prevent metagaming and knowing exact clothing they have on their character instead of judging from the perspektiv of their /skins.

Or like Beth had mentioned. If you are smashing someones window and the player appear to be online you can just simple toss them a PM and indicate the player that their window is smashed with a blunt object.
