It's probably the WI-FI signal then, here's a little tip you can use to see how smoothly your internet is going.
Go to Start > Run >
Type in "ping google.com -t" and enter.
It should say something like "Reply from <IP Address Here> bytes=32 time=110ms etc etc . ." if you have internet.
If it says something like "Request Timed Out" or anything else, you lost your internet.
Completely situational. What if she's hosting private internet on a self-bought router? (Which isn't allowed by most ISP providers)
She'd have her internet disconnected when she calls, lol.
