Forum - uploading a gif as avatar

Seems it takes forever to upload a gif that meets all requirements as my avatar. Tried multiple ones all under 250x280 pixels and under 5mb size. Doesn't matter how small or large the gif, it seems to not upload. Static JPEGs, PNGs etc work just fine.

Is this an issue on my hand or the host?

I think it's the issue your side, because I can use GIFs as avatars just fine (obviously, if you look to the right).

Thanks for clearing that up, changed browser and it worked. Probably a cookies / cashe issue or something (?)
