So, I will ask directly. I am in two usergroups, and I wanted to ask how can I change which to be displayed on my name, i.e. it would be purple instead of red. Thanks.

Each usergroup has a unique priority level.
Sadly, there is no other way of changing your forum name color besides leaving the usergroup (which would result in losing access to specific private forums).
