Hello all, this has been something in the works for a while now. It’s a little past the date we initially set but not too bad, so sorry for the delay. So without further waiting, let’s get into it. Myself and @PranC have been working on a way to make FM more approachable, and more for the factions. We’ve created a plan and are now on course with action. First of all, I would like to take a moment to thank the Faction Consultant team and everything they’ve done for the server and the faction scene. But as we step into a new face and structure we have decided ultimately that it’s time to let everyone go and rebuild from scratch. Thus opening the doors to everyone to come and join in on the effort.
Faction Support
So this is the new normal. We’ve decided to change the way in which we approach and deal with factions. Faction management has had the persona of taking on a more authoritarian role in the past and focused more on roleplay standards rather than supporting and advising factions. With this being said we’re focusing more on the latter. Faction Support, as indicated by the name, will be more of a reflection of what it should be, support for you and your factions. This will include helping events/scenarios/etc and advise on questions raised, these will be handled mostly with the Faction Consultants and elevated if needed towards Faction Administration. Alongside this there will be lots of changes internally about how the roles in Faction Support works and how the inner workings, well, work. This goes throughout the board here and each role will be specific as to their guidelines.
Faction Support Desk
With the new system in works, the communication between factions and ourselves has been somewhat of a bad showing. Some factions never got to state their points whilst others got dogpiled in the discussions. With that being said, we’ve elected to allow Faction Leaders access to a new board, specifically, designed to help the engagement between you and Faction Support more streamlined and fair, access to your profile/feedback/businesses/properties/etc, hopefully this will give you more access to us without having to use Discord etc across multiple servers to have a conversation.

We are well aware that there have been bad blood between the players and FM, and that some key figures that were in/around the team influenced the server in a bad/unhealthy way.
We hope to change this and start a new page in regards to the relations of FM and the community.
