Connection issues only on RCRP (ping spikes, weird lag, packet loss)

Good day everyone.
So today I logged into RCRP after a really long time and after playing for 5 minutes I started to see weird issues. My ping would reach 500 for a second or two (normally it's 180ms) and would start to experience packet loss (2% to 25% max). The game becomes unplayable until it becomes unplayable and I get desynced and everyone just freezes. I play on many other servers and feature no issues at all. I would really like to know if there is a workaround. Thanks!
