Didn't want to make another topic, so I'll just bump this one since my question is related.

I was wondering if when you own a business... Do profits accumulate 24/7 to be collected daily when you're on, or do they only accumulate while you're online? Just trying to get an understanding so I know whether or not buying one is a good idea for me, considering asking prices for most would take me about 3+ months of owning to even make back what I spent, and that's being on a few hours a day.

Only when you're online. Yeah, you almost never want to buy a bizz from a player, you'll certainly get fucked. I remember buying Bub's Hardware back in the day before I got it taken away when an admin falsely banned me

Hmm.... Ok, well thanks for the info, I'll avoid buying unless I find a really good deal, and until I know exactly what it is I want to do. Hard to decide, so many bases on here are covered by a number of factions already, and I have this natural desire to build something... Back to trying to create an idea someone hasn't yet.
