Very Slow Character Accepting

I've recently just joined this community and I'm planning on staying. I've heard from many others that character accepting took several days. This to me sounds ridiculous considering there's many other big communities out there that don't take longer than a few hours to respond to an application. Not trying to sound rude, don't get me wrong. Just trying to figure out why it is like this and if there's a chance we can speed things up a little.

I've just had a chat with two admins and they've told me they're currently being dealt with and that the applications are being reviewed quite quickly recently. Sadly, you will have to wait till your application is reviewed and posting here won't speed that up.

Yeah well you gotta wait some time, they have IRL stuff and shit, and this period is exams period and whatever. Waiting is the key.
