I'm aware we aren't supposed to use VPN's while on the server, but I have a real useless laptop for when I'm on the move. I've used shadow PC before, it's basically a stream service to a high end rig with low latency. Are we allowed to use this service while playing RCRP? Reading the rules, the only reference is for ban evading but if I'm not ban evading... does that imply it's allowed?

I am using a Shadow PC as well, and have done so for the past 3-4 months. If you ask permission from a management member (Earl for example, who authorized mine), you are allowed to play using the Shadow PC.

Any administrator can grant VPN permissions actually. Just make a support ticket!

OT: Shadow is considered a VPN (ish) so yes you do need permission for it.
