Playing samp using my phone's hotspot

I meant USB, yes, the forum won't let me edit my reply. Tethering actually is pretty decent compared to a wireless hotspot connection.I usually travel a lot and I use my phone's connection to log in once a while.

Ive heard that its not bad, depends on your phone internet too and if your network provider is any good. Quite a few people have played using hotspot and I’ve seen some get about 100-200 ping stable, which isn’t too bad considering it’s on a phone.

My hotspot is better than my internet connection.
20mb/s vs 98mb/s.

You'll run out of data real quick unless it's unlimited. If it's unlimited, I think it still has a cap which if you surpass, you are forced with slower speeds.

If you reside in a civilized country with stable phone service it should be pretty okay, personally used this method in last August, ping was 100-120 compared to my usual 50-70 which is not too bad, desync wasn't a problem and data usage was ~250-450MB per hour, pretty sure it could be even lower with audio streams disabled.

Been there done that. Wasn’t an issue, it really just depends on your network provider’s speed and network coverage.

So as the title says, can I play samp, specifically RC:RP while using my 3G mobile phone's hotspot? Do I get stable connection and a stable ping? I've seen many players played through this and just tryna get ya'll opinions on this.

Yea it works, but i have never tired on rcrp..you might just have a small lag.. i see some people saying about ping..has nothing to do with ping..when i used it the ping was just fine as the internet

If you can browse the forum using your 3g, you can probably play samp on it
