Two questions, whats the ID of the poles that block cars, and how would i go around making a patch of grass?

If you are using MTA, then it is easy to find the object that you want, by writing down a word that describes it or just by searching in the right section.
About the second question. You need to have a little bit good imagination and you have to experiment with multiple objects.

Haha, the problem is, i have no fucking clue what they are called.

Looking for a:
Roadblock? Type: "roadblock" // "block" // "barrier" // Search in the section Fences, Walls and Barriers and so.
Lamp post? Type: "post" or search in the Street and Road items section.
It is not that hard, just think of the most possible names the object could have and write it down. Just give it a try. Either it will give you some objects to choose from or it just tells you that there are no such objects with name like this.

Yeah, the "light", but if you'll use the "lamp" word, then it won't give you all possible lamp post objects. The "lamp" word, shows you mostly the interior lamps objects.

That cj_ thing didn't work... What is the object id for the basketball hoop?

EDIT: NVM found it, Object ID is 3496.

Write "bask" or "court".
