How does it exactly work because someone told me once houses stood for life but thats bullsh*t.

I saw Some topics after 30 days the lost a house but not a concrete answer and is it possible to maintain them if reported to staff with a valid reason?

If you go inactive for 30 days or more without logging in on the character your assets belong to, then all your houses and businesses will automatically get wiped. In this circumstance NO assets will be refunded.
