In that case, you can ask for it, but just make sure that the person who transferred you the donator level did not use any donator privileges such as Forum name change and all that.

I think the admins'd prefer if you make a support ticket here.
It's easier for the admins to check on and guarantees a quick response. But make sure you send in solid proof that the person before you did not claim the privileges.

How uhhhhhhhhh do I get proof that someone didn't do something? I'm not sure if they have used it or not so is there any way to check?

Do you happen to have the name of the person who transferred their donator level to you?
If so, send that along in the support ticket and it'll be sorted for you.
Or you can simply ask them to confirm whether they've used it or not. And for later reference, screenshot the conversation.
