Donator vehicle problem - vehicle storage reset?

Recently came back to RCRP after being gone for over a year. Heard about the new donator system and how donator vehicles work, but here's what I don't get.

Back in the end of 2017/Early 2018, I had multiple guns stored in my donator vehicle. Upon checking all my vehicles post-donator update, I can't seem to find any of them; it's as if my donator vehicle's storage was deleted.
I haven't touched my donator vehicle (haven't got in it, changed it, etc) nor have I even touched the game in a while.

Is this a bug, and intended feature, or am I missing something?
