How do they work? What happens upon being CKed? Just a namechange or a full reset of the stats except for level?

Use /changemyname In-Game, your name is now the one you typed in there.
No stats wipe, no nothing. All you had stays where it was except for the name.

25K == Namechange without criminal record reset.
Both will keep your IG assets and so on.

You need to pay for it, however you might get someone who can fund the NC for you, as example.
