Well, there's a SAMP command to change the size of the text/font on your screen, but I forgot it. Could someone remind me?

Adjusting it will increase the size of your text.

There was a command ... and you could set how many lines of text you can have on the desktop . I forgot it , please if someone can state it here.

Do you mean the amount of chatlines that are displayed on your screen?
Try /pagesize [10-20], hope I helped. Have fun.
