The entire Economy fucked itself in the ass when some noob decided to sell his house for 5 mil because it was "rare". The person who bought it sold it for double the amount, and the pattern continuted until the majority of the community started donating to keep up with the 20mil house prices... Like, a house in Bayside was 10mil in around... April or May. Houses in Mulholland were around 10-15 mil aswell, all because someone decided that THIS house will be worth 10mil, and if the person doesn't want to buy it for that price, someone else will.

This brings us back to Jake Daniels' topic about "Supply and Demand". Due to the lack of free houses, everything costed more. He was making a point that more houses = costs less. The increase in flats will not only give more players homes, but it will also ONLY decrease the price of flats. Why? Because a 10 by 10 square room is a lot different then a large, luxerious mansion in Bayside.

Well good luck in tryin' to fix it

He is right with the supply and demand, the high prices are a result of the low supply and huge demand for housing. It goes exactly the same way in real life. When the demand is high and supply is low, suppliers increase their prizes to equal out the demand. Altough it's a bit different in RCRP, as you can just buy money, rather than work for it. Lowering donation money or maybe even removing it is the solution to our problems. It will take time for the economy to improve, but in real life it also takes years for an economy to get back up on his feet.

And Alec will never approve that one, he knows that he gets more donations this way.

And I guess we all understand that, don't we?
Don't say we wouldn't do the same if this server was ours, atleast that's for most of the people here.

I agree with what Rich said, btw.

IMO, 60% of helper mods are retarded and don't deserve helper mod.
Why?

Newbie Bla_Bla: hi, how do i earn money?
Newbie Bla2_Bla2: Try sidejobs, using /jobs, they are good for level 1 and earn very good money for low levels.
Helper Mod Epic_Awesome: Muted, let helpers answer.

Newbie Bla3_Bla3: hi, how to earn money here?
Helper Mod Epic_Awesome: sidejobs.
Newbie Bla3_Bla3: how do i do sidejobs? how many sidejobs are there?
Helper Mod Epic_Awesome: /jobs
Newbie Bla3_Bla3: ok, what do i need for sidejobs?
Helper Mod Epic_Awesome: MUTED, SPAMMING /N, SURPRISE MOTHFUCKER IM A HELPER MOD!!!!!!!!

Yeah..... that's how HELPER MODS treat newbies. Don't even get me started on regular players and helpers.

You would be surprised to see how many newbies can become regulars and good RPers if you spend 30 minutes on /pm with him explaining everything.

There are multiple regulars right now that I've helped become regular, who probably don't remember me(James Fornell is one of them)
And there are more.

Others need to do similiarly. Most of the times you guys are fucking about, helper mods are either RPing and don't care about /n, or they are fucking about and showing off their uberness for being a helper mod.
Maybe spend that time helping a newbie instead of showing your 1337 drift sk33lz in your Turismo?

But meh, nobody gives a shit about it.

That is correct. Wipe all helpers and helper mods.... Start over.
I made a guide for helpers and helper mods - appearently some admin thought it was necessary to remove it :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:

Wow..I just found out there are 298 helpers :o

To be honest, I don't get this whole "/n is for server related questions only" rule. I'm a helper mod myself, and I'm trying to answer every question I know the answer for (obviously except questions that are blatantly MG like "Does anyone know where player X is currently at" and similar things).
Let's say there's a person that's new to SAMP, and he wants to know how to increase the amount of chat lines on your screen. I don't get why would you mute the poor guy for that, I mean, is it so hard to tell the answer instead? It's not directly related to the server, but it's not a "Why is the sky blue" question either. It is related in some way, it's a question, the person needs help. Help them. In the past few months I think I've used the /mute command like... 3 or 4 times. I don't even remember what for, I believe for trolling, but it's really damn easy not to abuse it.

Indeed, Yeah Sure, Server related questions only, But if you can answer why the fuck someone decided to start World War 2, Actually i believe helper mods should be wiped again, Simly, Let a admin do a newbie account, Let him ask something in /N, If no helper mod/helper answers, remove all of them? :))) Keep the ones who answer, In case they care, Let them re-apply.

That is definitely going over the top. When I was a helper mod, I'd answer anything and everything (unless, as Earl mentioned, MG questions) that can be answered in 1-3 lines. Anything over than that I would take it either to the forums or through PM. I suggest everybody to do the same, after all, we're all here to help. Thank God that administrators can now see once a helper mod abuses their /nmute command.
