A Potential Change In Master Accounts

Personally; I don't see how the decrease in characters would make someone more active.

Four accounts each take 25 percent of your activity - Two accounts each take 50 percent of your activity.

..but at the end of the day, just like you described before, it could actually backfire and make people go inactive because of boredom (..because of less variety etc).

I don't think that's true though, I have 4 accounts yet 50% activity goes to one, 50% another, 0% to the other two.

I agree with Robin personally. A lot of people are in two factions normally, and they might be legal, say SD and FD, etc. I myself am in both SAN and SCSA and with SCSA possily coming IG, I wouldn't want to be forced to either quit on of the two of have two legal accounts.
Everyone needs an illegal account, otherwise it just makes them be corrupt and go illegal (sometimes) on their supposed legal accounts.
That's how it is for me anyhow.

I wonder if he has ever thought of making people have, from 4 characters to 3 characters instead of making people go from having 4 characters and having to get rid of 2. It would be a tad easier to get rid of 1 character instead of 2, and like Robin said,

Removing 1 character instead of 2 would remove the extra inactive character that people might have, but still have the variety of having 3 character in different factions, splitting the times 33.33% for each character. A lot of people usually have a main character and then 1-3 alts, it would cut it down to 1-2 alts instead.

I don't think that's true though, I have 4 accounts yet 50% activity goes to one, 50% another, 0% to the other two.

Which is why I specifically stated 'theoretically', because it doesn't really work like that in the real world (even though that sounds weird as this is a virtual life xD)

I say, Limit it to two. In all realism, you only get one life anyways. If it is limited to two characters, you can maybe have one legal, and one illegal, and focus way more on character development and roleplaying with those two characters. I honestly only log onto my one character, and focus completely on him. Maybe I should go clean up my three other full character slots.

Well, that's the thing. You don't have to worry about it because you play on one character most of the time anyway, while loads of other people out there actively spend their time on all 3/4 characters.

Maybe there should be a rule saying you can only have so many characters in factions.
