I am wondering what is a best way of getting new "clientele" for marijuana without say going around asking people if they want weed.
You don't need to be experienced in this thing either.. I just want to see if there is any ways of approaching it without being awkward and a bad roleplayer.

There is nothing awkward and you aren't a bad roleplayer if you do that, since weed is now legal, you can just go ask people, and if cops come around, there isn't a big of a deal since, as I said, it's legal, just do your thing my man, we need more dealers.

One thing you could possibly do is open up a Weed Shop and make a website for it in the forum's IC section. I believe that you need an authorisation from a government division or personnel but I'm not too sure. However, posting up IG ads with your name brand on it could also be beneficial.

Weed is legal to have if you’re at the certain age and there’s a legal limit you can carry on your person at a time. If you want to sell, you’ll have to get in contact with the courts and get the necessary permits.

However, if you want to do it illegally. Take in count peoples turfs, if it belogs to a faction, you’d most likely want to get permission through roleplaying with them, or go into a neutral zone, such as one of the clubs or restaurants and try to meet potential customers that way. Hand your number out to customers and be a stable source for that person etc.

Just meet all kinds of people and try to find out if they do drugs in some other ways then directly asking them.When you get a few daily customers then try to give them good deals they can't deny and you'll make good connection between them and you. After a time you can tell them to give your number to their friends and then you'll probably go to jail or become a drug dealer that literally lives off of selling drugs.

Your best bet is probably interacting with people, and if they're considered legal now, you can ask people openly if they would like to buy some and it doesn't need to be done in secret. Also make sure you don't get scammed or robbed by somebody, so maybe have a couple friends sell with you? Usually adding other people to the roleplay makes it more fun imo.

Marijuana IS legal but you need an IC permit to sell it.
If you do not have a permit, obviously it is illegal to sell it.

... It's obvious that you can openly talk with people in a public area without a license and still get away with it. I'm not saying open up a dispensary and say fuck the law, I mean you could do that, but that's an open invite to get raided. Drug dealing mainly resides in social circles, dealing marijuana is social at least as it's not really addictive like cocaine or heroin. That's what I meant, I didn't mean yell it from the mountaintop that you're "dealing pot" in the club. But instead make some friends and see if they would like to buy from you, obviously you misinterpreted.
