Red County Roleplay - Vehicle Offroading Rules
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Offroading vehicles

As driving can be a big part of roleplaying, we have made some rules and regulations regarding the way in which players drive. You will see some examples as well as the "black and white" rules. Keep in mind that administrators can punish players for driving in a non roleplay manner, even if it isn't mentioned here. We ask players to exercise common sense.

Terrains

When driving on different terrains, you must roleplay it. This does not mean you must use an appropriate /me, but means that you must alter the way in which you drive your vehicle. Administrators have access to your vehicle's speedometer, and can see exactly how fast you are going. Exceeding speeding limits given below can either result in a warning or admin jail, depending on the situation. Again, we ask you to exercise common sense.

To understand the trickier terrains, we will give you a legend:

Other solid sufaces.

Enforcement

Prior to administrators taking action against you for what is deemed to be "non RP driving", they shall ask you why you are driving in a manner which is possibly unacceptable. In these situations, the admin will give you a warning if it is deemed to be unacceptable.

Obvious non Roleplay offroading will be punished without investigation. Such as fleeing up and down mountains in a non offroad vehicle.

Examples of offroad scenarios:

In this example, the vehicle is clearly on the dirt road. It is driving at around 37 MPH.
This is perfectly acceptable.

In this case, the player is breaking the rules. He is driving a Washington on the sand.
An Admin may query you about this depending on the circumstances.

The Bobcat is breaking the rules here because he is driving up a cliff-face.
An admin will most likely punish without question depending on the circumstances.

IHqdMRE.png

This is an example of a Sultan driving slowly over the grass. It is driving at around 25 MPH.
This is perfectly acceptable.

Here a Stallion (Not an off-road vehicle) is driving over the grass while it's raining.
This is not allowed. An admin will most likely punish the player depending on the circumstances.

Here we see two off-road vehicles. They are both going over 90 MPH on a grass terrain.
This will not be tolerated and the admin may punish without question.
