Information & Requirements

We are looking for talented members of the community to join the tester team to work alongside our existing team in testing code changes, reporting bugs, etc.

Duties of a tester involve:

• Reporting bugs, reproducing bug reports made by users
• Quality assurance testing on changes/new features within the gamemode
• Early-access to brand new RC-RP features, and a first look into major gamemode updates

We require all applicants to meet the following requirements:

• Testers play a very important role in the staff team as such we require individuals to have a decent admin record (no punishments in the last 2 months, kicks can be disregarded) and good community reputation and presence.
• Must have game testing experience. (Other SA:MP servers or even different games is valid experience). Being proficient in a programming language is a big plus however it is not required.
• Must be active and dedicated to the role. Tester slots are very limited, as such we require all testers to be very active and dedicated to their role. If you are known as someone who leaves and comes back often, unfortunately we won't be able to accept you.
• We require candidates to be proficient in English.
• You must have been part of Red County Roleplay for at least 6 months before applying. Testers must be experienced with the gamemode and how it works in order to test it efficiently.

Application

The application does not consist of any questions but instead we require candidates to write a paragraph or two in no less than 200 words explaining why you want to join the tester team, your testing experience and a bit about yourself. If you have any experience in programming, you're also welcome to attach any code that you've worked on.
