People who cannot dedicate enough time to be full-time firefighters can sign up for the reserves to have more flexibility in their schedules, while assisting the faction in the meantime. Furthermore, it can be beneficial for those who aren't sure whether they wish to dedicate a lot of resources and time for RCFD, so they have an additional option.
