@ Duff - They do.

EDIT:

My Bad, Duff, It was per pellet, and shotguns shoot many pellets per shot. Fix'd.

Hmmm, interesting post. good to see someone made the effort to create something like this, it will help a lot of people choose which weapons work well for them.
