Imgur compresses your images more if you upload anonymously

When you upload the photo to Imgur, it will meddle around if the file size is 1MB or higher. If you got a problem with that, simple transform your photos from PNG to JPEG. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

General majority of photo hosting servers deletes a photo unless it receives at least one view every 6 months.
