Haven't received a referral reward

I used a referral code to join and have since clocked in 12+ hours in-game. I have checked with the referee and I am listed as having used their code in their referrals section. I have also ensured that my main character has been selected. Given that it is a relatively new feature it may not have full integration or there may be some bugs here and there, but would it be possible to claim the associated rewards for myself and my referee?
