The munchies don't really make you hungrier, they just make food seem way more appealing. It's very possible to not be hungry at all while stoned off of your rocker.

Mate I'm not sure how many times you've smoked weed in your life or what kind of weed you've been sold in the past but as a daily smoker I can assure you it DOES make you hungry.
