Sic Bo Player's Guide
How is Sic Bo played?
Sic Bo ( translated as "Dice Pair" ) is a gambling game which has its origins from Asia where players can bet on certain outcomes of three rolled dice. Once all the bets are placed, the dealer rolls the three dice just like in the following picture:

What are the betting options and the payouts?
Generally speaking, the real Sic Bo game has quite a few options of betting, but I've tailored it a bit in order to keep things as simple as possible and enjoyable in the same time. I've decided to select 4 of the most popular bets from the Sic Bo table, those being the following:

The "Small" / "Big" Bet
This is a simple bet, where the players bets on the sum of the three rolled dice. If the sum is between 4-10, it's considered "Small". However, if the sum is between 11-17, it's considered "Big". You may notice that the sum of 3 and 18 are missing. That is because, if a TRIPLE is rolled ( eg. 1 1 1, 6 6 6, 3 3 3 ), you LOSE. This is how actually the house keep an edge on the long run, which is pretty much similar with the number 0 in a Roulette game. This type of bet pays off 1:1, which means that if you bet $1,000 and win, the Dealer will give you $2,000 back. Bellow you will see some example photos attached, showing a possible outcome of each bets.

The sum of the dice is 10, which falls in the "Small" category

The sum of the dice is 12, which falls in the "Big" category

All the numbers are same, which counts as a LOSS

The "Single" Bet
This is a betting option where you bet that a specific number will show on ANY of the three dice. If you bet for example a Single 3, you bet that number 3 will show on ANY of the three dice, you win! Pretty simple and straight forward I guess. The payout however is a bit different, since the same number can show up on two or even all three dice! If the number chosen turns up on one dice, you get paid 1:1 ( $2,000 for a $1,000 bet ). If it turns up on two dice, you get paid 2:1 ( $3,000 for a $1,000 bet ) and if it comes in on all three you get paid 5:1 ( $6,000 for a $1,000 bet ). Let's see some examples below:

In this scenario, Kenji would get back $2,000 since his number was matched on one dice

In this scenario, Kenji would get back $3,000 since his number was matched on two dice

In this scenario, Kenji would get back $6,000 since his number was matched on all three dice

The "Double" Bet
The Double bet is a bet that TWO of a specific number will show on the three dice. For example, a bet on Double 2 would win if the three dice show 2 6 2. You can bet on any double from 1 to 6 and the payout is 10:1 ( a $1,000 winning bet will return $11,000 ). Here we have an example photo:

Kenji would receive $11,000 back with his $1,000 bet on this roll.

The "Triple" Bet
The Triple bet is a bet that all three dice will show a specific number. This is probably one of the hardest bets to win, but its payout is eye-catching! There are two possible ways you can place this bet, those being:

  • ANY Triple - You bet that ANY triple will be rolled. Payout of this is 15:1 ( a $1,000 winning bet will return $16,000 )
  • Triple Number - You bet that a CERTAIN NUMBER triple will be rolled. Payout of this is 25:1 ( a $1,000 winning bet will return $26,000 )
Let's have a look at some example photos so we get a better view of it:

72186
Kenji would receive $16,000 back with his $1,000 bet on this roll.
72187
Kenji would receive $26,000 back with his $1,000 bet on this roll.

How do you place the bets?
You can either just say ICly how much you bet and what bet you'd like to play ( eg. "$1,000 on Single 2!" ) or you can just write it in a /me, like it's in the above pictures. You will then have to pay the Dealer your bet amount and that's it, you're in for the next roll! Bare in mind that the Casino reserves all the rights to limit certain bets to a certain amount of money! Have fun playing and good luck!
