Step 1
Right-click your desktop on an available space and head over to new then shortcut. You should be greeted with the screen shown below.
In the location you have to type in the directory of your San Andreas Multiplayer client, followed by the server IP for a connection to be established.
If your game is installed to the default directory, then you can just copy and paste the lines below based on your operating system.
32-Bit: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\samp.exe" server.redcountyrp.com:7777

After you do that and press the next button, you'll be met with a screen that looks like this. Just type in a preferred name for the shortcut like Red County Roleplay and finish.

Having finished all the steps above, you'll get a shortcut on your desktop with the San Andreas Multiplayer logo as the icon. But you can change the appearance in the properties.
Step 4
To change the icon to a more appealing one, just right-click your shortcut and tap on properties at the bottom. You should get a screen like the following.
Step 5
Once on the screen, just press the change icon option and browse for your desired icon. Thereafter, just OK the change and apply it in the properties.
Remember that deleting the icon after setting it will most likely mess up the shortcut after rebooting your computer.
