it depends on your ISP actually. for instance, with my 1st ISP, I was getting around 400 ping or so but with my 2nd ISP, my ping was normal. though most of the isps are affected by this, you can still play with normal ping if you change up your ISP or something. hmu on discord if u need help or something
You might be right. I used to get a very high ping in COD: MW so I contacted my ISP and told them about it and they fixed it in a day.

Yeah, so it's just the way your ISP is routing you. It's taking you the longer, cheaper way for them to route your traffic which equals 400ms latency. Generally going through Asia would almost half your latency, but is far more expensive and for the average user makes no difference so your ISP won't change anything.
