What is this?

This is a guide created to educate people on the 4 gambling games that will be played at Casa Blancas while under my management. Credits to @TheSlenderman for coming up with two of the four games, I've simply added a slight twist to them out of the suggestions received from the community and my own likeability.

What are the games played?

There's a total of four games that will be hosted at the Casa Blancas casino - Blackjack, Horse Betting, Car Raffle and Chuck-a-luck. Each one of these games has a very different nature and provides a different way of gambling, making the whole in-game gambling scene a little more interesting. If you're looking for something easy to learn and very luck based Horse Betting would be your best choice, however, if you're seeking something more strategic and skill-based I'd recommend Blackjack. Down below you can find a guide on how to play all four of those games.

What is the goal of Blackjack?

The main goal of Blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible with the sum of your cards (yes, blackjack is played with cards and not dice). Anything over the sum of 21 is a bust and will equal a loss for either of the parties. The player's goal is to get a higher number than the dealer aka get as close to 21 so the dealer has a lower chance of beating you. To win in Blackjack as the player you MUST get a higher number than the dealer or have the dealer bust (meaning get a number over 21). Example - if the players get a 20 and the dealer gets 18, that would be a win for the player, however, if the player decides to stand on 15 and the dealer gets 17, that'd be a win for the dealer. If both the player and the dealer get the same number (for example 18), that will result in a re-draw, both of the parties starting from 0.

How is Blackjack played?

Blackjack is played with /rolldice 13, however, 13, 12 and 11 will equal a 10 and not their original value. That is because those three numbers are RP'ed as a J, Q and K in cards. So (13=K, 12=Q, 11=J). For example, if you get a 6 and a 13, that will come to a total of 16 because the 13 is actually a 10. After every dice roll, the dealer will ask you if you wish to ''Hit or stand?''. Standing means you stand on the number you have, hitting means the dealer will roll again and add a chance to either bust, get closer to 21 or get on 21. The dealer is obliged to always hit when his number is below 17 and is obliged to stand when his number is 17 or above.

Blackjack

A blackjack is the best option you can get in the game. It's an option of 21, but it beats 21. For example, if you get a Blackjack but the dealer gets a simple 21, you'd win. Blackjack pays 2:1. So if you win with a blackjack you'll receive triple your bet. Example - If you bid 1000$ and won with a Blackjack, you'd get 3000$ back. The only way to get a Blackjack is to get a 1 and a 10 (including J, Q and K) on your first two cards. A dealer can also get a blackjack.

Double Down

A double is an option in Blackjack. A Double can only be done after your first two cards. To double down you must pay your bid again and you're eligible to hit just one more card. It will, however, pay double as well. A double is usually a good option at 10, 11, 12 and 13, but it can be done at other numbers as well. Example - if you get a 5+6 (11) and bid 1000$, you might want to double. You must pay another 1000$ to the dealer. The dealer will /rolldice 13 for you one more time. If the dealer either can't beat your number or busts afterward, you will receive 4000$ back. Here's an example scenario - You bid 2000$ get a 5+6 (11) and announce a double. The dealer waits for you to pay another 2000$ and then does a /rolldice 13 for you again. You pull a 8, meaning you're now at 19. You have no other option than standing. Then it's the dealer's turn. The dealer plays normally, as he would in a normal game. If he gets anything above 20 or 21, he keeps all of your cash. If, however, he busts or gets a 17 or 18 that means you receive 8000$.

Split

A split may be done when you pull the same card twice on your first two cards (For example 2 and 2). A split means you pay twice and play two hands. So it's like doing two blackjack games at once. Each one of your hands will double a half of your bet. If you split, each one of your hands will be assigned the number you hit (2 in this case). Example scenario - You bet 3000$. Dealer pulls a 4, 4 and a 7 for himself. You decide to split. You pay another 3000$ and split your hands, playing two hands now. He does a /rolldice 13 for each one of your hands again and adds that to your 4's. For example he pulls a 6 and a 5, leaving you with a 10-9 and the dealer has 7. Each one of your hands is now played out, starting from the lowest. You have an option to hit on the 9 or stand, you hit. The dealer pulls a 10 and you decide to stand on 19. Then your 10 is played out, you once again have an option to hit or stand. He pulls a 3, leaving you on 13. You hit again, getting an 8, which comes to the total of 21. The dealer now plays his hand. He pulls a 10 (17 total) and MUST stand. That leaves you with both of the hands winning, you receive a 12000$ back.

Soft numbers/Ace

Pulling a 1 on your first two cards means you get an Ace. An ace can equal both 11 and 1. Your hand is now considered a soft hand, equaling both 11 and 1. If you hit and get say for example a 17, it equals both 17 and a 7. You can stand on 17 or hit again. If you bust, for example with an 8, that will take the 7 and abandon the 17. Leaving you with a 8+7 (15) and your hand is no longer considered ''soft''. Now you play with a simple 15 and have the chance of hitting or standing. Example scenario - The dealer does /rolldice 13 and pulls a 1, 6 and 6 for the dealer. That leaves the player with a Soft 17 (17 or 7) and 6 for the dealer. You decide to hit. You might get a 3, which will leave you on Soft 20 (20 or 10). You can either stand on the 20 or hit again. You decide that 20 isn't good for you and hit again, getting a 3. That will leave you on a normal 13 and you play a normal hand now. You decide to hit and get a 5, leaving you on 18, which you finally decide to stand on. The dealer now plays his hand, starting from 6. He gets a 4+11 (as we remember getting an 11=J and J is RP'ed as a 10) so that leaves him with a total of 20, beating you.
How is chuck-a-luck played?

Chuck-a-luck is a game that originated from Sic Bo and is popular around Europe/UK. Chuck-a-luck is played with three dices. There are tons of ways to bet on Chuck-a-luck, but here are the ones we're hosting -

Small/Big

The small big bet lets you bet on either small or big and pays 1:1, meaning you'll get double of your bid back. Small means that the sum of your number is somewhere between 4-10, big meaning the sum of the three dices lands somewhere between 11-17. If you guess small or big correctly you win. If, however, the dice shows three of the same numbers that would equal an automatic loss for the player (example - 3,3,3). Example scenario - you place 2000$ on small bet, the dice is rolled three times (/rolldice 6) and they come to a total of 9 (2+4+3). That means you've won and receive 4000$ back, however, if the dice gets a sum that's 11 or above, you'd loose.

Single/Double/Triple

The single, double or triple means you can bet that a specific number will show on the dices rolled either once, twice or three times. Single = a specific number shows on the dices once, pays 1:1. Double = specific number shows on the dices twice, pays 10:1. Triple = specific number shows on the dice three times pays 15:1. Example scenario - you place 2000$ on double 2, you hope that the number 2 will show on two of the three dices rolled. The dealer rolls the dice and you get a 2, 2 and 6. That means you've won and you receive 20,000$ back. However, if the number 2 appears on the dices only once - you've lost.
What is Horse Betting?

Horse betting is a game usually played on online betting websites. It is also a very popular game in England. The idea to play this ingame and how to do it is by me, even though it's one of the easiest to learn games.

How is Horse Betting played?

Horse betting is a super easy to learn game. We roleplay having a monitor inside the casino that shows horse races you can bid on. When at the table you choose the amount of horses you want to play with (lowest amount of horses you can bet on is 5, the highest being 20). The amount of horses you play with will also mean the number of times your bid will be multiplied in case you win. For example if you bid 5000$ and play with 5 horses and win, you'll get 25,000$ back. If you play with 5000$ and choose a game with 20 horses, you'll get 100,000$ back. After you've chosen the amount of horses you wish to play with, you pick a horse number you want to bid on. Then the dealer will RP looking at the screen and waiting for the race to end before announcing if you've won or not. Script-wise he will /rolldice x and if the number matches the number you picked, you've won. However there is a little twist we've added, the /rolldice will always be one number higher than the amount of horses you chose. That's because if it rolls the highest number possible, your horse is RP'ed having a trauma and you've lost as well. Example scenario - you bet 3000$ and choose to play with 7 horses. You decide to go for horse number 4. The dealer then roleplays staring at the screen and does a single /rolldice 8, it lands on 4 indeed and whola you've won yourself a bloody 21,000$. If it lands on any other number than 7, however, that means you've lost.
How is Car Raffle played?

Car raffle is a rather easy to learn game and might bring you huge profits if you're lucky enough. It's played with 3 dices and you must get the same number on all the three dices to win the car. An exception to this is the number 3, if you manage to get a 3 on all the three dices, it's still going to be a loss. The vehicle up for the lottery will always be displayed on the right side upon entering the casino and depending on how luxury the vehicle is the entrance fee to play the raffle will also vary.

I think you made a mistake, You win when it lands on number 4 instead of number 7.
You play with 7 horses, You picked number 4 to win.
