Bank Interiors?
Walk-in bank vaults for RP purposes?

I, for one, would greatly enjoy the idea of being able to pull off RP bank heists.

Lots of sugestions here! Just kinda brainstorming. I'd even be willing to learn pawno so I could make half of these a reality.

New Store item: Laptop. Laptops can be used as a virtual notepad and can be stored in a briefcase or a trunk as an item. Laptops can have installed both legal and illegal data, such as calculators, notepads, or personal MP3 players. Laptops will cost $25,000 each and will not disappear, but can be stolen.

New Job: Hacker. Has the ability to /install illegal programs onto laptops, which can be purchased from electronics stores. All software is a single use and can only be /installed once per hour (60 minutes) After you use the illegal software, it automatically removes itself from your laptop and must be /installed again.
/install [playerid or name ('self' for your own laptop)] [software ID]
Software IDs:
  1. "Standard" Hacking Program (Level 1): $5,000 (Open Bank Vaults Normally)
  2. "Super" Hacking Program (Level 2): $10,000(Open stronger bank vaults & bypass some of the lockdown timer on weaker vaults)
  3. "Diamond" Hacking Program (Level 3): $30,000 (Open strongest bank vaults & bypass more of the lockdown timer on weaker vaults)
  4. Number Trace: $1,000 (Traces the general location of a Cell Phone, if turned on)
/hackvault [ID of installed hacking program (1,2,3)]
/tracenumber [Cell phone number to trace]

New Interiors: Banks. Banks will possess new custom interiors that will allow more versatility when it comes to roleplay. Banks will each contain a vault of a particular size. The size of the vault depends on the particular bank.
  • Fort Carson: Small (Level 1; Light Security)
  • Montgomery: Small (Level 1; Light Security)
  • Angel Pine: Small (Level 1; Light Security)
  • Bayside: Medium (Level 2; Intermediate Security)
  • Los Santos [Suburbs] Medium (Level 2; Intermediate Security)
  • San Fierro [Suburbs] Medium (Level 2; Intermediate Security)
  • Las Venturas [Suburbs] High (Level 3; High Security)
  • Las Venturas [Downtown] High (Level 3; High Security)
  • Los Santos [Downtown] High (Level 3; High Security)
  • San Fierro [Downtown] High (Level 3; High Security)
The security level of the bank depends on the intensity of crime in an area. The higher a security level in a bank, the more powerful of a hacking program you will need in order to open the vault. Once you obtain a laptop with an illegal hacking program /installed, you can use Level 1 hackers on level 1 banks, level 2 programs on level 2 banks, level 3 programs on level 3 banks. Once you /hackvault on the bank vault, the program will go to work. It will require you to hold still and "Hack" for roughly 30 seconds. If left uninterrupted, the bank's vault will begin the countdown timer. Once the lockdown timer reaches 0:00, the vault doors will open and the money can be seized.

A level 3 bank, for example, cannot be opened by a level 1 or 2 hack. The bank's firewalls will block the program and the heist will be a bust.

New Minigame: Masked Bank Heists. With the re-addition of the currently broken /mask and /editmask system, players will be able to /mask in order to disguise their appearances. Once /masked, players will be able to partake in a scripted bank heist minigame, where they must not only RP the bank heist, but this also enables various minigame features. Such as; Random amounts of money spawns and loot bags to hide the money in.
Players will begin the minigame with a checkpoint inside the bank. They will /beginheist to start a masked bank heist and anybody who uses the /joinheist command inside the same checkpoint within 30 seconds will also join and receive benefits from the heist. Once /beginheist is initiated, there is a 30 second timer before law enforcement (SAPD) is alerted of the ongoing heist. Officers responding will be allowed to return to the crime scene after death, but the heist will end in a fail if all the heisters present are slain. Heisters will receive up to 3 loot bags when they join. Loot bags can be used to /takemoney nearby a pile of randomly spawned money. Once they /takemoney, the bag will be filled and will appear on their back. Heisters can /dropbag to drop their currently held bag on the ground in front of them. In which; another person may /getbag to pick it back up, supposing they don't already have a bag on their shoulders. If a heister is carrying a bag on their shoulder, they can climb into the passenger seat of a vehicle owned either by them or a friendly heister. They can then use /cashbag to delete the bag and the money will be added to the pool of endgame benefits. If the heisters fail, all money is lost. If they succeed and escape with their escape vehicle, they will receive benefits from every loot bag they /cashbagged on. The heist will end in a success if the heisters manage to evade the police and get away in 1 or more player-owned vehicle and survive for 30 minutes after the first /cashbag is made. Anybody who remains alive after that 30 minutes passes will end the heist in a success for his entire crew. All heisters will receive a share of the winnings. Anybody in the heist who logs out within that 30 minutes has 3 minutes to log back in or else they will be disqualified.

Don't particularly like the idea of the banks being in the main city as it draws RP away from the actual area which the server is based in.
