Using Vest mods with SA-MP Addon

So I got a new vest mod, I removed my previous SWAT stuff so that it don't interfere and well I just get a white texture, even when I try and revert to a old version aswell. It seems that everytime you replace or change the vest while using SA-MP addon its just like nah fam.

samp addon makes stuff worse then it fixes, my opinion
you can get a texture on it by using TXDWorkshop I believe it was called, but I have no clue how to use it

Samp add-on changes the way your vest is retrieved from the folders. Rename your vest files to "SWATArmour1" and "SWATHelmet1" respectively.

You sir, are a hero. Just uninstall and re-install SA-MP (disable the vest mod in modloader first), then reactivate the vest mod after reinstalling and boom. Fixed it for me.
